Earth Bands
Earth Bands are back! The Earth Bands contest is designed to reward those participants who have worked hard to recycle and to improve the environment. Cash is still paid out for cartridges, iPods, laptops, digital cameras, GPS devices and cell phones.
Last year, we had over 450 participants who sent in contracts and collectively helped keep over 6,750 toner cartridges, inkjets and cell phones out of our landfills! This was just a small part of the nearly one-half million total items sent in through our recycling participants. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Contest:
When a participant turns in a combination of inkjets, iPods, laptops, digital cameras, GPS units, toner/laser cartridges and/or cell phones that totals 5, 15 and 25 units, he or she will win an Earth Band. There is a different color for each different achievement level.
This program is cumulative over the year, so keep track of participation and reward your organization's top achievers with exclusive Earth Bands rewards! Encourage participants to earn multiple Earth Bands at every level to show everyone their commitment to raising funds for your organization and protecting the earth.
Reward Levels:
A total of 5 items earns the first GREEN Earth Band.
A total of 15 items earns the second level RED Earth Band.
A total combination of 25 items earns the third level BLUE Earth Band.
Coordinators are asked to fill out the following form marked "Earth Bands Contract." All entries must be recieved by June 15, 2010.
