Real Success Tips
Everyone asks for insight into what our most successful organizations, big or small, do to earn money and win promotions. So here are some tips of the trade--from real coordinators who have had success with their utilization.
Small grade school-earned over $500 last year:
The coordinator set up a contest between grade levels to bring in the most recyclables. Rewarding the winning grade level with an hour of free time in the computer lab was enough to get these students collecting, but this coordinator took it a step further and aimed for a digital camera utilitzing the Re-Source Rewards Promotion. Imagine the top recycling student's surprise when he was presented with the camera at the end of the year assembly. Now that's using a promotion to its fullest!
Non-Profit Organization- earns an average of $1000 per year:
This non-profit earns an average of $1000 a year collecting cell phones. How do they do it? Simply by asking for used cell phones on their webpage and communications to donors as part of their "needed items". Use your tools of communication to thier fullest!
Mid-Sized High School- earned over $1100 last year:
This school enlisted the help of a local business to have them donate their recyclables on behalf of their school. Once the initial agreement for the company to help was done, so was the work of the coordinator.
